If you were born after January 1, 1984, you must have a Missouri boater certification card to operate a motorized boat on the state’s lakes.

18' Jon Boats

Our inventory includes the famous Shawnee White River jons, 18 feet long and 48 inches wide. Outfitted with reliable, 2011 Yamaha electric-start 25-horsepower motors, these jons glide over the water with ease and plane quickly for fast trips upstream. Two grown men standing on the side rim cannot tip these boats.

They are that stable. Four padded, swivel seats and a live well round out the rental. Gas is included in the price for jon boats rentals. These boats are designed to hold up to four persons weighing a total of 585 pounds or less.

20' Jon Boats

In our fleet we also have a special, 20-foot jon used on the White River for hauling gear for overnight trips. It has five seats, two live wells and tons of room.

Longer as well as wider, the 25-horsepower motor lifts its wide frame onto plane and scoots over the water with ease. It is also very stable in the water and excellent for flyfishing. These boats are designed to hold up to five persons weighing a total of 750 pounds or less.

All rental boats come with life jackets, cushions, swivel seats and anchors upon request (but not in moving water.)
Trolling motors are available for an extra charge.
