One day on a cold January morning, three bored fishermen, on a dock on Lake Taneycomo hatched an idea.  “What if we made one cast off the dock each day and recorded it to keep track of how many we catch?  But if we start, we have to do it every day — and never miss a day!”  And, thus, One Cast was born, January 10, 2015. Since then we’ve made almost 1,500 episodes and caught more than 155 trout — on the first cast, which is THE official cast of the day.  We only have missed ONE DAY since when it just absolutely slipped all our minds.  Through beautiful, serene days, cold, blustery ones and even amid flooded conditions, we have built up thousands of followers, some who have never even visited Branson. We are  humbled and grateful for the response and hope we have helped anglers from all over  learn how to catch more fish, namely trout on Lake Taneycomo.
