A Place the Whole Family Loves

Whether you’re fishing at sunrise or watching the kids play all afternoon, our lakefront amenities are designed so everyone has something to enjoy.

Pool

Our new pool was built in 2023! It is a chlorine pool that is five feet on the deep end and transitions to three feet on the shallow end. One cutout has a one foot deep splash area for kids and easy gradual step down to the shallow side. The cutout on the deep end has a bench along the edge for adults to relax in the water.

Playground

With our multiplication of children and grandchildren among our staff, we fully understand the need to “corral the kids” so we built a nice fence around the playground area and placed well positioned benches for all the adults. Of course, you may have to try the rope lattice climbing challenge yourself or chase the kids through the curved slide.

Marina Dock

One thing we’ve learned over the years is that we can never have too many boat slips! Our main dock is over 400 feet long providing opportunities for boat rentals, dock fishing, guest slip rentals, and fish cleaning. Many lifetime memories have been made here, and we hope that yours is next!

All of our lodging rentals are just a short walk from the dock where resort guests have 24 hour access.

Pavilion

The lakefront deck where our pavilion sits was the first thing we built after purchasing the resort in 1983. The cedar logs for the posts were later harvested locally, then peeled and honed here for construction so that all guests can enjoy the changing great views of Lake Taneycomo. This area can be reserved ahead for your special gatherings at no charge.

Firepits

There’s nothing like a campfire! It draws good conversations and makes memories. It warms the faces and the hearts sitting around it. The smell of hardwood burning just wafts away worries . . . That’s the motivation behind our lakefront firepits — for all to enjoy, year round. We’ve stacked the wood, so just BYOM! (Bring your own marshmallows.)

Landscapes

Grandma Carolyn Lilley inherited her green thumb from her mother, Margaret Harvey, who lived with her and Jerry in Branson for the latter part of her 102 years of life. Well into her 90’s, Margaret worked in her yard tending to the flowers there. Carolyn, now 90, still plans, plants, and tends our landscape, both here at the resort and at her home down the road.

Tackle Shop

We take a lot of pride in our tackle store, aiming to equip all anglers for fishing Lake Taneycomo, whether you’re a novice worm dunker or seasoned fly fisherman. We have fly tying materials as well as the largest fly selection and inventory in the four-state area. And our flies are all designed and handmade to target our trout and nothing else.

Does the resort have a Pool?

Yes! We built a new outdoor pool in 2023. It features a shallow splash area for kids and watchful parents, and bench seating in the deep end for social lounging.

Is there a playground for kids?

Yes! Our playground is fenced on all 4 sides with a single access point. It features a wooden fort with a cargo net bridge and slide, plus a small variety of swings.

Can the pavilion be reserved?

Yes! The pavilion is available to all resort guest free of charge. If you would like to reserve it for a period of time, simply ask our staff at the front desk.

Is this a good place for families?

Of course! We may be biased, but we have been hosting family getaways for over 4 decades! We love to see children from years past come back as parents who bring their own children.
